What is Writers Biology?

Writers Biology is a study concerned with the characteristics, classification, and behaviors of writers, how words came into importance, and the interactions they have with each other and the natural environment.   The art of writing encompasses a broad spectrum of genres that are often viewed as independent disciplines.  However, Writers Biology is concerned with the foundation from which all writing is formed.

What is Writers Biology for real?

Okay.  Writers biology is just a review of the basics.  Vocabulary, style, structure, grammar, and peer review are all elements that make up a writer.  Thus "writers biology".

What can Writers Biology do for me?

Let's try a sports analogy.  Basically, you can not win a game if you don't practice.  If you're a rookie, you must know and master the basics of the game before you get recognized and solidify your spot on the team. If you're a veteran, you must constantly review the basics so that you don't get too  complacent with your skills and loose your spot on the team to a new up and comer.     If you're not on the team but merely a spectator or fan then learning the basics is just for fun.

What does Writers Biology have to offer?

Having an extensive vocabulary is important for a writer, so you can study words off our many word lists, or read many of our suggested book list.

If you hate the red marker, then understanding grammar, style, and structure can be most important to a writer.  We've provided a few fun worksheets and basic rules of grammar.  Do them for fun or do them for work.

There are many different disciplines and genres of writing so we thought we would provide little informational's on a few of them; simple explanations on the how's and why's.
